Bean Baskette Coffee opened September 29, 2006. 

David Baskette, an elementary PE teacher by degree and his wife, Mary Lin, decided to open Bean Baskette in order to serve wonderful coffee to the community.

David was born in Tennessee, lived in Atlanta and played baseball for Augusta State.  David has always been an enthusiastic coffee drinker  searching for the best cup of coffee.  He is continuously tasting our coffee trying to decide on his favorite!

Mary Lin was born and raised in Martinez.  She did not begin to love coffee until she met David, eventually marrying him

We make all of our wonderful sandwiches, salads, and soups.  We also bakes the muffins and homemade desserts. 

We hope you enjoy our coffee and our coffee shop.  We want everyone who visits to feel welcome and at home.
